ABOUT US

Memory’s Hill “Freddie” was first foal that was born on the farm on April 27, 2011.  He is a bay colt out of Meant To Be “Mea” and by Nob Hill.  The farm, originally residing at 177 Purple Cow Road is the “home base” operation housing mares, foals, retirees and layups. The farm was purchased in 2006 as a retirement home for Mea, who earned herself the luxury after bringing Ashley through her junior career.  After many years in the show ring, Mea spent the rest of her life as a broodmare.  Her first foal, One More Round, owned by Alexis and Bill Doughty has been a three-time USEF Horse of the Year.  Sadly, Mea lost her second foal.  Freddie, her third foal, aspires to follow in the footsteps of his mother and brother.  He was named in loving memory of his dam, who he lost on his birthday and in honor of his sire.  And so it is, that the farm, in essence, belongs to Mea and Freddie, hence Memory’s Hill Stables.
